Ex Phys (career project)

Your assignment will be to research the questions below and to present your findings to the class in a PowerPoint presentation. Please keep in mind that when doing a PowerPoint presentation, you are giving the information to the audience and not the slides. Each slide should be a brief summary of what you will vocally expand on.

Below is an outline that be covered during your presentation. The following is the minimum amount of information to be covered, you may include additional information that you may find useful.

1.What are a few of the local Colleges/Universities that offer degrees in Exercise Physiology/Science (EP/S)?
2.How many years of college do you need to attend in order to obtain a degree in EP/S?
3.What are some of the courses you would be taking in order to obtain a degree in EP/S?
4.A degree in EP does not necessarily mean you must become an Exercise Physiologist. What are five other careers that you could go into with a degree in Exercise Physiology?
5.From your list of five careers, choose one that interests you and answer the following questions about it:
6.How many years of additional schooling (if any) would you have to attend in order to become your chosen career? Do local colleges offer what you need?

8.What is an average salary for this occupation?
9.Describe what a typical day may be like.
